Founder Alex grew up on his mother’s legendary Mexican picadillo beef empanadas, based on a 50+ year-old family recipe. He also developed a deep love for the rich, hearty flavors of Italian cuisine. When he set out to create Empanoli, he wasn’t just looking for a substitute—he was chasing perfection.
After three years of fine-tuning, he perfected the Empanoli’s signature butter crust—baked, never fried, and every bit as flaky and satisfying as the originals that inspired them. The result? A gluten-free Empanoli so good, you won’t believe it’s gluten-free!
